The event that this documentary was about took place in 1972 in Munich, Germany.
In this documentary, the kidnapping and murder of 11 Israeli Olympic players by a group of terrorists is explained.
An act of terrorism took place by the fact that 11 Olympic players from Israel were kidnapped and murdered simply because terrorist from Palestine had wanted to make their country known.
The point of view of the producer proved to be more informative as opposed completely biased. Regardless of the fact that there was a sense of neuratility, it was seemingly so that the producer did sympathize towards the Israelis during this documentary.
1. It is taught in this documentary that in 1972, an act of terrorism had occurred where a Palestinian terrorist group lashed out against the Israelis by taking 11 Olympic players hostage and ultimately murdered them.
2. Based on how it is expressed throughout this documentary, it is easy for one to learn the concept of Nationalism due to the actions of the Palestinian terrorist group. They had wanted to make their country known for more than just some region that is inferior to others. These terrorists felt they were doing what was best for their country, and believed they were helping the cause of spreading their message.
3. After watching what had happened to the Israeli Olympic players, Germany had proven to the world that they had not honestly cared about Israel, due to the fact that they had already mistreated many Jews during World War Two while Adolf Hitler was in power, and had now made an agreement with a group of Palestinian terrorists which involved making it seem like they had stolen a plane freeing the Palestinian prisoners in an attempt to prevent any terrorist attacks upon Germany itself.
